My biggest value in life is my health and body. I value tools that connect people with their body and massage played a big part in my body awareness and appreciation. I believe this connection allowed for my physical feats of 3x100km trail runs with podiums on 2, 5x50km & 40+ 42.2km distances (uninjured & with my cycle!!!).

As an accredited remedial massage therapist I am working towards body connection and regulation to allow for you to live and play better. The body is my greatest passion and teacher and I will forever be learning about it and sharing with you.

Everybody deserves the best relationship with their body and everybody deserves a massage.

How it works?

Remedial massage involves a deep tissue release technique aimed to reduce tension and tightness within the muscles of the body. When we are in prolonged positions sitting, driving, or standing at work, or have tension due to strenuous activity our muscles get “stuck” in shortened and tensed positions and can lead to imbalances within the body which can lead to pain and reduced function. The aim of remedial massage is to restore the body’s ideal postures and positions by manually releasing muscles and joints to allow greater relaxation, reduced muscle tension and improved joint movement and mobility. Tightness treated with massage has been shown to be the cause of knee, hip, back and neck pain, as well as chronic headaches and mental tension. Ensure you consult your health professional to assess the cause of your pain before seeing a massage therapist for treatment.
